“Shadowing a square” introduces a unique way to add color and interest to your design. Shadowing happens when embroidery threads or fabric pieces are added to the wrong side of your design creating a color change on the top of the fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During class time we will explore this topic by mastering: basic shadow stitching; how to shadow stitch a square shape; how to shadow work a square when hemstitching; and how to attach a fabric piece to a hemstitched square to achieve a color change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples of each type of shadowing will be shown and suggestions will be made on how to incorporate these elements into your designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete Kit Contents:<\/strong> fabrics for stitching samples; needles; threads; floss; class handout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
